Cette nuit, le pivot choletais Rudy GOBERT a été drafté en 27ème position au 1er tour de la Draft NBA 2013 par les Denver Nuggets, puis transféré aux Utah Jazz.

Il devient ainsi le 5ème joueur formé à Cholet Basket à être drafté dans la grande ligue américaine en moins de 10 ans, après :

- Mickaël GELABALE : drafté au Second Tour en 48ème Position par les Seattle Supersonics en 2005

- Nando DE COLO : drafté au Second Tour en 53ème Position par les San Antonio Spurs en 2009
